Hi Everyone!

 

What a busy time it has been since my return from IRD.  Recent health issues for my husband Tony found us spending 10 days in the hospital with more medical issues ahead of us.  Thanks for all of your cards and prayers.  Times like this make us most appreciative of our extended TOPS family.

 

President Barb Cady has challenged us again.  This year her “Cut and Burn” challenge will give us an opportunity to evaluate what we are doing and how we can cut 100 calories from our daily food plan. Also, how we can increase our activity to burn 100 calories more each day. These two small changes could result in a 10-pound loss from 2009 International Recognition Days (IRD) to the end of the year—and up to a 20-pound loss by IRD 2010 (July 15-17).  You can read more about her challenge at this link http://www.tops123.com/Cady/CutandBurn.html

I hope you are excited about taking on her challenge and achieve positive results with a few simple changes to your lifestyle. 

 

Many chapters have already had the opportunity to receive the new “Create Lasting Change” program that our area captains are presenting this year.  If you haven’t had a visit from her/him, give them a call to schedule a visit so they can get it on their calendar too.  Thank you to the chapters that have taken time to send me the field staff visitor form.  I appreciate receiving your input on your field staff’s visit to your chapter.
