Dear Chapters –
Here we are at the start of another year. It’s amazing how fast time seems to go by as I get older! I hope that everyone was able to show a loss for the year 2011 – or KOPS to maintain your KOPS status. As we continue down the “Road to Success” in 2012, let’s remember to stay focused on our journey. The trip will go smoother and the results may surprise you.
By now your weight charts and chapter resume’ are being processed and it won’t be long until we know who the 2011 Division Winners and State Royalty are. Thank you to all of those officers who assisted in preparing these reports and sending to your Coordinator on time so that your members will not lose out on the recognition that they deserve. I’m excited about congratulating all of the winners from your state and look forward to seeing everyone at your upcoming SRD.
As a reminder – make sure that you save the updated TOPS rules from the January/February issue of TOPS News as well as the weekly goal calendar on page 44. Note the special offer on page 19 to purchase 4 “Daily Do It” books (enough to guide you through the entire year) – at a special price of $10.00. If you are having trouble getting on track – remember….we all need to start somewhere, and this may be just the tool to get you on track. Is your chapter planning on doing Chapter Program 89 – “Are We There Yet?” It is a great program. And officers – don’t forget about the “Leader Lesson Plans” (under the “Information Station” on the TOPS Wonders homepage). Use a little or much of the plans as you choose; as this is just a guide to help you get the chapter participating in information that could prove to be beneficial to all.
This year your Field Staff will present a wonderful new program upon visiting your chapter. It is called “Masterpiece or Paint-by Number”. Be the first to call and be placed on their chapter visitation calendar. And as usual – you will have the opportunity to purchase another great new tool from them…..you will love it!
I hope that everyone has a great 2012 and that you all reach the destination that you are planning on your “Road to Success”.
