Hi Everyone!

What an exciting time as we wind down from our SRDs and prepare for IRD.  We are proud to say that we do have several International Winners from our area and you will see them at IRD or after July on our websites.  If you were unable to attend SRD this year, check things out at our state websites at www.TOPS®.wonders.com. 

TOPS®Communications Department is looking for your help with upcoming programs in the TOPS®News.  Beth Maniero, TOPS®Communications Manager, is looking for chapters and or/members who have participated in the fun form of exercise called “chair dancing”.  If you or someone from your chapter has done this, let your Coordinator know prior to Friday, June 13.  They are also working on a story focusing on vegetarianism -- following the outline of vegetarian options in The Choice is Mine.  They would like to share stories of how members who are vegetarians successfully use the TOPS®plan, how TOPS®affects their vegetarian focus, how they share their chosen food focus with their fellow TOPS®members, how their chapters support them as vegetarians in their weight management efforts, how they survive the holidays that focus on non-vegetarian foods, etc.  Do you have any vegetarian members in your chapter who would like to share their stories with TOPS®News?  If you or someone from your chapter has done this, let your Coordinator know prior to Friday, July 18, 2008 and she will forward to Beth and the Communications Department. 

The June issue of TOPS®News has the coupon for the discounted purchase of the newly revised The Choice Is Mine at a savings of $ 5 per book with the purchase of 6 or more copies, plus a shipping charge of $ 5.95.  This offer expires August 31, 2008.  You can also order at the TOPS®store online at www.TOPS®.org  If you choose to order smaller quantities of the book, you can order them on the L-015 Award Order form through your Coordinator at the regular price of $15 plus shipping.  Several of our winners attributed their success to the use of this publication. 

This issue of the TOPS®News also highlights the upcoming TOPS®retreat cruise in the Mexican Riviera and the Sea of Cortez.  The dates are February 13-23, 2009 and more information can be obtained by returning the coupon on page 15.  If you have always wanted to attend a TOPS®retreat and always wanted to go on a cruise, this might be the perfect opportunity for you to accomplish both at one time.
