Hello everyone –
The calendar is telling me that spring is only a short time away…however, the weather isn’t quite as convincing. But we do know that it is time for election of chapter officers and with that -
Just a gentle reminder to make sure that you send the L-001 Officer Chart form to your Coordinator immediately following your elections – so she may verify that all members are current and in good standing. As you prepare for your installation of officers and special recognition of chapter division winners and royalty, you may wish to use the wonderful new installation of officers program in the March TOPS News – “It’s My TIME”. Thank you to all who served as officers this past year and to those that will be stepping forward to guide your chapter through the coming year.
If you are in need of those special awards for your chapter recognition program and you want to save the paperwork and mailing of your award orders – you can now order on-line from the TOPS store at www.tops.org. Take a peek and see if this is something your chapter might be interested in doing.
As your SRD committee is busy getting ready for your arrival, I encourage you to make sure you register by the deadline to assist them in making your SRD experience a pleasurable one. Many hours go into the planning and production of SRD for you and your winners. If you have state winners, assist them in any way that you can. Check to make sure that they have all of the necessary paperwork returned to the committee before the deadlines. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the SRD committee people listed on your SRD letter. (Note: All of this information is also on the website.)
