Hi Everyone!
As we are in full bloom for our SRDs, I want to thank everyone for their warm hospitality and the great job they have done in honoring our winners – and I anxiously look forward to those SRDs that are yet to come this month.
If you were not in attendance at SRD – check out our website for success stories and photos of our winners. Their successes are truly motivational and may just be the spark to inspire you to move closer to your goal.
We have been fortunate to have two members from our area who have had the opportunity to share their TOPS success with local and national television. Michigan member Susan Olthoff was a guest on the Today Show and you can view her appearance on the Michigan site of Topswonders.com. Also, Oklahoma member Glenda Gibbons, accompanied by area captain Cora Pogue, was featured on a local station. (You can see Glenda and Cora on the Oklahoma site of Topswonders.com.) These two members created quite a buzz on the phone lines, as field staff from all of the country had their phone lines light up with inquiries from potential members. Way to go gals! We truly are our best advertisement when we are able to share our successes with others.
Please make sure to make an appointment with your area captain (or your Coordinator if you do not have an area captain in your area) to have them visit your chapter and present the newest program “Time to Create Lasting Change” and at the same time, have the opportunity to purchase the new “My Personal Journal” while they are visiting you.
TOPS’ President, Barbara Cady, has issued a Million-Mile fitness challenge to all chapters. If each chapter “walks” 1,000 miles from 2008 International Recognition Days (IRD) in Chicago to 2009 IRD in Orlando, we will reach this Million-Mile goal. Chapters who participate in this challenge will be eligible to win one of five $100 cash prizes, which will be presented at IRD 2009. This challenge ends May 31, 2009.
