Happy Fall to all –

It’s that time of the year again – the leaves on the trees are turning their beautiful colors of red, orange and gold -  and soon the frost will be on the pumpkin!  I wish all of you could come to Wisconsin this time of the year to enjoy the beauty of my state – and my favorite season of all. 

What a horrific hurricane season we have had and many of our chapter members are just returning to their homes with water and power being restored only recently.  We are very fortunate that nearly everyone responded to the warning of hurricane Ike and loss of life was at a minimal.  The devastation in some areas of Texas was horrific and I know it will take some time to get back to normal.  But remember to draw on your TOPS®family – as we are always here for you.   Please keep me posted if your chapter is in need of anything – and I will do my best to see that your needs are accommodated. 

How is your chapter doing with the “I GAVE TOPS®TEN” challenge?  And how close are you to IRD in Orlando and the President’s challenge to “Trek to IRD”?  I know many of you have been busy charting those miles and some are already there.  For the rest of us, we need to keep moving and chart those miles. 

We are also chugging along filling up our “TOPS®Train”….the Coordinators are reporting many new members – so keep telling your friends and neighbors about our wonderful organization.  We want to be able to “Move that train” but we can’t do that until it is full and we reach our membership goals.

When you are buying that trick-or-treat candy for the little goblins, remember who you are buying it for….
